Worth visiting!
Why I recommend this place to visitors
This is a small, cosy but tasteful cafe area on the first floor. It only takes up part of the floor, the rest of the area is taken up by a walkway over the reception area below and part of the museum shop.
What I particularly loved about it is that the chairs are upholstered with the same material that covered some Tube train seats in the 1980s (a garish multi-coloured grid pattern) – it was a lovely nostalgic moment :)
