I will go to live in Göteborg next year. I want to live in another country for some time… don’t know how much, I just want to know how does it feel to start a life alone in a foreign place. And I decided that it will be in Göteborg. Why? I don’t really know, but I was there last year for a few days at the end of a long trip, and I felt so peaceful there, the city is nice, people is nice, and also it’s near Oslo or Copenhagen, two cities I also liked very much.

i always knew jen lekman was from here, he says it in the first line of maple leaves. then today i happened to realise nikola sarcevic (~millencolin:)) also resides here. .. and then, i was looking for live recordings of josé gonzález- heartbeats, and foung out he also lives here!!! so i obviously must have to go there if it’s good enough for my three favourite music men. this can’t be a cooincidence. what goes on in the water of gothenburg??

Wow, just come back from a few days in Gothenburg. It was warmer and sunnier than both Liverpool and London, and I fell in love with the place. The air was cleaner, the people friendlier, the lakes and forest just outside were breathtaking. The beutiful islands where cars are not allowed and people travel by petrol driven tricycles were amazing, The trams ran on time to the second. The girls were stunning and the beer wasn’t as expensive as I was led to believe. Of all the places I have been in my life this is where I would like to live. (My friends who live there said it gets colder in the winter though and work is hard to find).
