Englischer Garten

Be prepared to see naked people sunbathing in the park! This was somewhat shocking to me the first time I noticed a nude man standing near the river! Other delights of the park… dogs playing in the river, drinking a beer at the Chinese tower, enjoying a lazy afternoon.

I love “biergarten”....

This was definitely my favorite part of the English Gardens. Watching these guys surf (illegally, nonetheless) in such a small area could have kept me entertained for hours. And the water was freezing!

Its great to rent a bike and ride all around on the bike paths and then sit down in a beer garden and enjoy a nice brewski with a great big pretzel.

One of the most relaxing days i’ve spent in Europe was having a pint or two at Englischer Garten in Munich.
