My Second home
I stay there at least once a year with my mother and sister. It is an awesome feeling waiting, wondering when and where you will seee/hear anything. We have had many experiences throughout the years. You all should get there as soon as possible. I need to get back this month sometime myself.

Why I want to go to this place
Courtney:
i heard so much about it and i bealive in it and i want to like discover about the little girls and find out about chole.
Brianna:
I have heard about this place since I was 9 years old and I am now 16. This place has interested me since the first time that I saw it. Just the story about it is so interesting. I would have to say that Chloe is my favorite ghost and I cannot wait until my stay at the Myrtles. <

A review of this place: One of My Favorite Places
Being a southern Louisiana native, I’ve been intrigued by this plantation all of my life. I’ve been on countless tours throughout the years, from childhood into adulthood and have spent one night in the house (as a matter of fact, I’ll be spending my second night there tonight, 06.06.2006.
Ghost tours are given on weekend evenings, Friday-Saturday. Historical tours are offered daily, from 9am-5pm. The plantation is also a bed & breakfast, offering varying rooms and rates
From personal experience, I would say the house is definitely haunted, and perhaps is even a “portal” of sorts – a thin veil – to “the other side”. Around 3am is when you will note the most activity.
I’ve done extensive study on the plantation, it’s true history, and the phenomena that takes place there. I definitely suggest it as a place to visit for those who love history or the supernatural. Enjoy!

Really great.
I’ve only been to the Myrtles Plantation once, but I’d been wanting to go my entire life since I’ve always been sort of a ghost-story nut. When I got there, though, the novelty of it being a haunted house sort of faded away, and I was just blown away by how beautiful and peaceful it was there. The house doesn’t give off a bad feel at all; in fact, I felt perfectly at home there.
The tour guides are friendly, and there’s even a restaurant in a smaller building built next to the house. Lots of rich history here. I recommend it to everyone.

Click on “Investigations” and then the subject “New Orleans” for some insights. I was just there three weeks ago and we uncovered some pretty interesting stuff.
