Oostende

Staying in Bruges we used Ostend as a place to change from the train to the coastal tram to view the pieces along the Flemish coast as part of Beaufort 2006

I loved it, went there for a week. Bit of a skate paradise on the front and the beach is huge! The casino’s not worth going into unless you’ve got ur safety survival kit, what with the large amount of checks, but the front at night when the sun is setting is great if you’re in one of the bars with a glass of beer…..good times…..mmmmmmmmmm….

I visited Oostende with my Boyfriend in July 2004. We had a lovely time. There is a tram line from Oostende that goes up and down different coastal spots in Belgium – You can buy a ticket for the day and hop on and off seeing many places. There is also an open top bus in the shape of a bar that takes about 10 people on it, and it drives around one of the coastal spots selling beer!
