As far as I remember I’ve climbed up this one. I’ve climbed up a couple, but I think this was one of them.
EDIT: I guess I haven’t climbed this one, I know I’ve been there though.

Lighthouse Lineage
Bodie Island Lighthouse is an unmissable attraction on the Outer Banks. There is currently an effort to restore the tower so that visitors may climb to the top. Currently, they can go in the bottom and get a feel for its height as well as explore the keeper’s cottage.
My grandfather was the son of the last keeper of Bodie Island Light. I grew up hearing many stories of his adolescence there. In the summer he volunteers for the park service telling tourists those same tales. Not bad for a 90 year old great-great-grandaddy!

156 feet high on the Outer Banks
Would be better if it were open for climbing, but the museum in the former keeper’s quarters is very interesting.
Renovations are being bid out, but the National Park Service hopes to have the lighthouse open to the public for climbing in a few years.
