A review of this place: Food is wonderful!!
There are two locations of Acme that I know of. I used to go to the one in the Quarter when I worked down there. I loved the Oyster Sushi. It is quite unique. They take fried oysters and place them on a rice roll. There is a tabasco infused wasabi and a tabasco soy sauce for dipping. Love them!
Last night however, I went to the Metairie location where I had their delicious and creamy Oyster Rockerfeller soup (they top it with a fried oyster) and a shrimp po-boy. The boo fries (fries topped with shredded cheddar and roast beef gravy) are great!

Not worth visiting!
Ok the food is good but the restaurant is to small
It’s also always crowded if I were you call, place an order and pick it up. Sometimes it’s a 20 – 30 minute wait to get in. and the waitors are so busy it’s better to try somewhere else.

Be sure to have oysters, but for the main dish
try Poopah, it is so good, red beans and rice served in a tall loaf of Italian bread with andouille sausage on the side. The locals go here so you know it is good and the prices are the most reasonable.
This picture was taken back in ‘95 of an ex friend of mine, but talk about priceless, the look on her face was!!!
