Davenport

Not an ending destination, but nice for passing through. Nice Civil War reenactment on the waterfront across from Rock Island. Some nice old houses on the hills too. Take it for what it is and enjoy.

I grew up in Davenport Iowa – last visit was for my high school reunion. I had a blast. I live in California now (& love it here) but I look forward to seeing old friends at my next reunion in 2007.

My boyfriend at the time lived there. It’s nice to visit.

I bought a car here just outside Davenport in Moline. There is not much, but it is a very scenic place. Davenport apparently has everything that your typical suburban city has.

This isn’t a place to travel cross-country to go to. But if you live in the general IA/IL border area it’s not bad for shopping and entertainment…
