For the casual tourist, the University and the Corner is worth the visit. See how Jefferson set the architectual precedent for university design in the Western Hemisphere.

For prospective students, definitely give it a tour. Sciences, Engineering, Medical Arts, and especially Liberal Arts programs are outstanding. It’s also a great social atmosphere, a wonderful balance for those who see education as important, but not the only facet of a person.

The grounds of the University are astounding and certainly worth seeing. But don’t stick around long enough for any of the trust fund babies with entitlement issues to wreck your good time.
