I used to read Chaim Potok’s novels and was totally charmed by his descriptions of Williamsburg and its inhabitants, the Hassidic Jews.

I must have passed through here like 50 times by cranberrygoddess

in a train or cab, but i’ve never actually gotten out and seen the place.

i’m afraid of all the scary hipsters i keep getting warned about ;)
