I ran into a barista who worked here for a few years in London. He works in London now! Unbelievable that I ran into him.

Yes, it’s very good but also very expensive. I usually found Amer’s to be good to great quality and not as expensive. I’m one of those kids who went to school next door. We knew to get the “day olds” which were tasty and considerably cheaper.

It’s a treat (yes, $11 for a sandwich is a bit pricey), but if you appreciate good food, it is well worth it. I had read about it in a magazine article, and my Dad and I happened upon it on a day trip to Ann Arbor, and I have been a ZingFan ever since! The employees are extra nice and helpful, and the atmosphere is like no other. Make a trip!

Zingerman’s has been named Inc Magazine’s The Coolest Small Company in America. The sandwiches are $10-12, but after having one, you’re read to sell your soul for another. In New York, land of delis, the New York Times has written about Zingerman’s more than a dozen times. That should tell you something. My favorite is #23, Mary’s Commute. It’s chicken salad with pepper-encrusted bacon on challah bread. Yeah. Exactly.
