Brooklyn Bridge

Didn’t go to the Statue of Liberty, but I’m just content seeing it from the Bridge

..I can’t even describe the feeling you get. Let’s just say it’s a very romantic spot for couples. I lived in Brooklyn (Flatbush) for a good minute and I walked accross from Brooklyn to Lower Manhattan. The view you get of the NYC skyline is breathtaking! It’s definitely one of the possible places on my list of where I want to propose to my future wife!

when i lived in bk, On weekends my friend Gian and I would walk across the bridge to Manhatten and walk al the way to Penn Station so I could catch the LIRR to LI to visit our girlfriends. Sure the station on Flatbush was closer but we had some great chats along the way. I miss seeing this bridge every day.

I took the circle line cruise and went right under it. The next time I go to New York I plan on walking the foot path.

I love the bridge

There’s something almost majestic about walking the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset. It’s like connecting to the true roots of the city.

I walked across for pizza. I was very hungry by the time we got there.

but probably couldn’t do it many more times because you would get too frustrated by tourists walking slowly, taking up the whole walkway, and stopping suddenly for no apparent reason.

I went from Brooklyn to Manhattan, and planned to go back on it but it got too late and I decided to subway it back. Might have been quicker to walk it though, in hindsight.
