Kanyakumari, TN by Katinka
On a whim I took a bus from Kovalam to Kanyakumari as it seemed quite close on the map. My little day trip ended as a literal day trip – I left Kovalam on an early bus out, got to KK around 1, had a quick look around and jumped back on the bus home.
To me it was worth visiting as it’s the most southern-most point of mainland India, but there aren’t many tourist attractions there.
The buses are a pleasure though, no glass in the windows so you can work on your tan :P
