Tarvisio

Being a small town close to the border Italy and Austria it has also the feeling of a town living from trade tourism. Before Austria joined to EU many people from Carinthia came here simply because italian food was far cheaper. If you like this kind of town then Travisio is perhaps really something for you. There are some good restaurants there and also in the vicinity. To bad there are also quite a lot tourist restaurants :-(
