Spectacular view and phenomenal people!

Went for the Jazz festival in 2001 (specifically to see Sting). Beautiful place.

very ritzy city. Chateau de Chillon is the highlight for a tourist. the views along lac leman (though to be fair, really for all the cities along the lake) are among the best in Switzerland.

I’ve lived here for 1.5 years. It’s pure paradise to wake up and have a beautiful view of lac de leman. If you have a chance to relax and enjoy switzerland, this is the place to visit, but skip the tourist traps and go for a walk into the mountains. You won’t be disappointed.

Its a lovely town. I just barely missed the International Jazz Festival the year I went. It was very clean and the people were very friendly.

I’m sure if I had more time and freedom, I would have explored the city even more.
