Gilroy

I dont know what to say. I dont get out much. Its hot, good highschool, and theres always something to do.

I lived here in 1973. I attended the first 2 Garlic festivals, which were not as crowded as they are now. I lived on Las Animas Drive. It was a sleepy little farm town back then. I was amazed how it had grown last time I visited. Not far from there everyone should go to dinner at the Tres Pinos Inn. Wonderful!!!

We were driving down 101 with the windows down and were breathing in the lovely smell of garlic! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! And I have to say that we had some amazingly good hot garlic sauce from The Pepper Plantation. Delicious!

I went to the outlets. I haven’t checked out that Bonfante Gardens place yet.

I stayed with my friend at her Grandmother’s house in Gilroy, and I thought it was a great place. It’s really pretty, and the weather is wonderful. Sure…not too much to do there…except go to the outlets, movies, Garlic festival. But it’s a nice place. Besides, I know great people in Gilroy. I can’t wait to go back and have another Mexican feast.

Came here for the Gilroy Garlic Festival, which is the crappiest, most overhyped festival ever. It was also about 110 degrees.

Shopping outlets. That’s the only reason to visit.

i’ve been to gilroy like 100 times and it always stinks! :)

even if you just drive through the winding fields, your entire car will become permeated with a sweet garlic fragrance. dusk is especially nice.
