Rock City

I just revisited Rock City and it was so lovely. We had such a great time. It’s so peaceful and you can really take your time and everything. There are so many places to take beautiful pictures.

I’d always seen the signs for it and finally stopped to see it. It’s not handicap accessible (we had my grandmother with us). But its really cute. I wish I would’ve bought one of the birdhouses that looks like the barn they use to advertise it.

This place is simply beautiful. It’s well maintained but very natural. They have splendid souvenirs! :) It was kind of too foggy to see the seven states but I guess that just means I’ll have to go back! :D

This place is AWESOME. I would go back in a minute! Simply unforgettable!

I’ve been to Rock City 4 times. It’s been about 7 years since I last went though. I loved it when I was little and I’m looking forward to going back this summer when I visit my bff in TN.
I remember Fat Man’s Squeeze and Look Out Mountain. I also remember this cave with all this fairy tale stuff in it. That was definitely my favorite thing about Rock City.

I’d seen the advertisements on barns throught the region for years. At one time Rock City would paint peoples barn’s for the priviledge of having their “SEE ROCK CITY” advertisement on the roof. Poor farmers didn’t care…they were getting a free upgrade to their barn. Worth seeing just for this historic fact. Nice sceneray, too.

Went there a couple of years ago when visiting Chattanooga. It was fun and I loved the swinging bridge. There is a barn not to far from my house that has “See Rock City” painted on it.

I needed an hour to kill on my way to Knoxville so I stopped in. I wasn’t sure what to make of it and didn’t want to blow the money on something that was not worth it. I definitely thought it was worth it although it could be a bit cheaper. It would be a nice place to spend 2 or 3 hours at but since I had an hour, I pretty much flew through the place. It was not particularly sunny- actually it was practically raining- and it was still really beautiful.

After knowing about Rock City for so long, I finally actually visited just this year. It was wonderful. Words really cannot describe beauty of this place, like a natural garden of wonders high above the world. The little gnome cave area is a must see too. Well worth a visit, prepare to be amazed!
