Roland Garros

A friend and I were lucky enough to get tickets to the 2007 French Open here, and it’s so hard to go back to watching tennis on TV after seeing it live! The tickets go on sale sometime in November I think and the sale closes around March. Any tickets not taken up online are sold at the ticket office about a month before the event. Once people start leaving in the afternoon you can also buy evening tickets at the ticket office for very little. Do bring your own food and drink as the queues are ridiculous and the quality of food is quite terrible.

I was on a bus trip and we drove by the entrance/sign to the entrance & I almost died of glee! lol I was in the back of the bus and saw nothing that caught my eye other than landscape, everyone else was sleeping but when I read the sign I grabbed for my camera to get a shot! It turned out lousy but that doesn’t matter! I love tennis & would love to actually see this place someday!

I’d love to go next year for the French Open.
