Worth visiting!
This traditional festival is held in early May each year. The town is festooned with flowers and greenery and a parade dances though the town going in and out of homes, shops and of course pubs; they take a bit longer to go through the pubs.
I lived here in the ‘70s but I’ve not been able to get back for Floral Day since but I’m certain the festival still goes on.
