John Brown Wax Museum

The museum wasn’t great, but we had a lot of fun when we went through it.

It was cheesy to be sure, but when I saw the wax figure of John Brown and the other guys I was awe inspired to learn more about the funky town of Harpers Ferry. However, if you value your intestines-do not! I repeat-do not eat at a certain dinery called KIng’s PIzza-it is run by a bunch of dirty Gypsies, led by an old bat and her son FRanco-I am serious! THere were flies than pizza dough in this dump. THe rest of the town is great, except instead of more tourist traps we had too many buildings wasted for national park purposes-with no one in them. It’s a depressing ghost town. Why not more garrish tourist traps? The ice cream place is great. I hope the feds don’t force them out and put up another empty building as some sort of half ass exhibit with fake goods and the like. Enjoy the river for swimming, but be careful, if you want to fish be sure you find out which state your in-i mean it, I was standing in WEst Virginia, but told I was fishing in Virginia waters, then I walked down the shore and I was fishing in Maryland. This crazy game warden named Huck kept giving me a hard time, i think he was more interested in some of the underage girls that were frolicking on the shore.

The wax museum was ok – but I’ve been in much nicer and better wax museums. It wasnt really worth $6.00 to see it.
