Port Macquarie

A beautiful quaint small town for local and international tourists. The beaches are beautiful and pristine. There’s an unofficial nude beach called Miner’s Beach but mostly middle-aged men go there. There’s a trailer park and lots of more expensive hotels and inns. The smaller food stalls are hit and miss. But, they do have a Hogs Breath Cafe with very good steaks. Stay away from any chicken dishes in ALL of Australia. I had the entire backpacker’s room (4 beds) to myself. And, like most of Australia, not too many people.

The beach was nice, but there are alot of nice beaches nearby, and there wasn’t much to say about the town itself. I stayed in a backpackers where everyone was loud and annoying. There was nothing anywhere near good food. The only thing to do was go to the beach.

I had a friend grow up here and hates the place.

The beaches and scenery are really beautiful…but it’s really only a place for the people who aren’t into the big-city-holidays and aren’t after the big shops like Myer and whatever.
Port’s a nice place, but it’s a hole, and I don’t like living here that much anymore.
