Worth visiting!
One of the most somber, yet amazing experiences I’ve ever had. Truly a trip that any American should make to appreciate what our forefathers worked for.

My husband and I visited this location on our honeymoon. It was so eerie to see the oil (still) come up to the surface of the water from underneath of the vessels. This was a very surreal visit and one that I will never, ever forget! This was so very well worth the trip to Hawaii. They had a beautiful memorial and giftshop with memorabilla where we spent a great deal of time. I didn’t want to leave. It was the true spirit of America!

I first went to Hawaii when I was 16. I really wanted to go on the Arizona tour, but we just couldn’t seem to make the time to get there. I really want to go back and see it.

The entire story behind Pearl Harbor is spell binding. When you visit Hawai’i this is one place you should definitely visit.

Pictured here is the oil still bubbling up from the arizona. When the Arizona sank, it went down with a million gallons of oil. They say that the oil are black tears which won’t stop until all the crew members are together again.

It was like our grandparents’ 9-11 event so I felt compelled to visit.

Interested in history in general and battleships in particular, so there’s the obvious reason for wanting to go – Mo, the Arizona, and the Utah (not sure if you can get to that part of the harbor where she rests, though).
Also my grandfather flew PBYs during WWII. His last flight was from Pearl Harbor to San Francisco. The plane flipped over when landing in the harbor and he was drowned. So I’d like to visit the last spot where he stood on land. Don’t plan to do anything special, just want to see it.

I have been to the Arizona Memorial over 37 times. Even though you may say this is a lot I am still willing to go there again and again just to show people more and more about what happened December 7th 1941 in Pearl Harbor. I am in the US Navy and I find it important to have people understand their past. I have no animosity towards anyone involved. Instead I think it is a great and important piece of our history and one that should never be forgoten.
