Not worth it!

Maybe if I found the British pub I would have had a better time. Instead I happened on the local T.G.I. Fridays. The Cypress Hotel is amazing though!

Worth visiting!

This place is boring. Everything is far apart and hard to find but its neighborhoods are nice. The only thing I like it Vivi’s Falafel’s.

Not worth it!

Cupertino I’ve only briefly been in, staying with friends en route to other spots. Besides the Apple campus, about which more in its own entry, the only thing I remember much about Cupertino is the IHOP we ate at before driving back to SoCal in the morning where friend Dan encountered the concept of ‘fresh…FROZEN…strawberries.’ We were a little confused too.

Worth visiting!

It is rumored that the Chinese are moving in to Cupertino because on an ancient map it suggests that this location, by its very longitute and lattitude intersection, is in prime relativity of having the highest levels of positive feng shui in the world. :)

... and now you know the truth.

Worth visiting!

The highlights of Cupertino are, obviously, the first Apple Store and its Headquarter building (if you’re into that sorta thing,) and the authentic Chinese food (as authentic as it can be in America.) I definitely recommand stopping for some Boba Milk Tea (aka Pearl Milk Tea) at places like Tapioca Express, Quickly, Q-Cup, or Cafe Verde. I prefer Verde, their drinks are creamier and stronger, plus the Salt & Pepper Chicken’s great. Because of the high volume of Chinese in the Silicon Valley, it’s inevitable that the food will be more authentic. This is true for any ethnic food, anywhere in the world. Try some restaurants and eateries around Ranch 99 and you’ll soon forget all about Panda Express (the horrors, the horrors…) Best case scenario: you have some Chinese friends from the area to take you around. If not, feel free to send me your questions, I grew up around here so I’m familiar ;p
