    I Love It  — 4 months ago

    Worth visiting!

I’m a space shuttle freak so visiting Cape Canaveral is a place I have been to and do plan to go to again.
I watched a shuttle launch from Cape Canaveral.

A tip I have about this place  — 11 months ago

    Worth visiting!

I’ve been to Kennedy when Endeavor was on the pad, but I really want to see a launch. NASA posts the schedule, but it’s always subject to change.

I have been there twice. Both times I thouroughly enjoyed myself. Maybe someday I’ll be there when they launch a shuttle.

Why I want to go to this place  — 1 year ago

I would love to witness the launch of the space shuttle…How brave are we…to blast into the unknown.

Only fakes  — 1 year ago

    Not worth it!

Not many real things to see. Just fakes… models… replicas. I’m interested in these things, Sirs, didn’t came here to see Disney Land’s type things.

    Worth visiting!

my son , when he was unschooling and 9 years old, drummed up a flower selling business to eran over $600.00…at 50cents a sunflower, he earned his way to NASA space camp in Cape Canaveral Space Center. He hopped on a plane alone and spent the week in Florida…the following Saturday, we joined him in Cape Canaveral..now at 18, he was accepted to the aerospace program at NC State. I think that is just so cool! Great cheers I send out to one of my best friends, my son, who is following his dream!!!

The last time I went to this place  — 2 years ago

    Worth visiting!

It was almost as good as a trip into space—almost. There are several different tours, but, if you’re a 50-something child of the space program like me, I heartily recommend the historic tour. This little-known bus tour takes you into the heart of the cape, to the very control rooms and launch pads where America took its first steps into space!

Shuttle launch  — 2 years ago

    Worth visiting!

I was here in the early 90’s on a day (night) of a launch which was very spectacular and breathtaking. If there had not been a launch I don’t think it worth a visit unless you have an interest in space travel. Good Imax, but you can see the film in other locations. But you can’t go to Florida and not visit can you!! The crawl back to Orlando on the freeway was worse than Friday on the M25; not recommended.
Not a great fan of theme parks, much preferred the west coast, St Pete’s Beach.

    Worth visiting!

Busy and very interesting place to visit. Expect to need at least 4 or 5 hours.

Nice but Expensive  — 2 years ago

    Worth visiting!

Went to the NASA Space Center and paid a bomb. Was somewhat disappointed at how expensive and cheesy it was.
