Your walking around in complete reality and being completely normal then it hits you how wonderful this place is when you compare it to home. I love my home, but the beauty that surrounds you at lake garda is breathtaking. Its really something else to have the pictures that you see on postcards in your memory.

This place is absolutly worth visiting! I’ve already beev there twice! If you’re looking for a see shore atmosphere, sand, shells, waves and never the less, to watch the sun going down into water (might depend of your locatin :) ), it’s perfect. As for a long time I’ve seen looots of montains, it was realy great. As accomodation I recomend a camping place, it has all facilities included in price: aqua gym, aerobic exercise, tennis and voley, mini party for the children :) So..go for it!

A dynamic combination – all abound in Lake Garda. From the medieval bustling shores of Sirmione to the cobblestoned backstreets of Lazise…

when i last when here i was a child, but i remember the place quite well. i remember seing a caste high in the mountains, but at night when the mountains are not visible, it looks as if it is floating in the sky. i would stand next to another castle on ground level which looked like the one in the mountains, and imagine that the castle in the sky was reflecting a mirage of itself down onto ground level.

lake garda is a wonderful place, i recommend it!

It’s quite simply one of the most beautiful areas I’ve ever visited. We’ve been there four times already and are planning to go again next September. The scenery is breathtaking, it makes me happy just to sit and take it in. Even though it’s rather in the north of Italy, it feels southernly. It’s certainly on my list of the three favourite places of all time.

We went camping at one of the poshest camp sights I have ever seen. I never knew this was such a life style but it is. Several nights are plenty but the area is beautiful.

Ahhh...Lago di Garda - One of the most beautiful places in the world!  — 2 years ago

I’d like to open this entry with a confession.
I get totally freaked out when it comes to Italy.
I visited Italy with my ex-gf 6 years ago. We were both 21 & after our military service. I planned our 2 weeks trip for a month diligently. We rented a car for two weeks (yes, it was before the EUR invasion – try renting a car for 2 weeks now adays ;) a beautiful-red-bran-new-FIAT MULTIPLA and ripped Italy from South to North.
Lago di Garda is an unbelievable place. It is sooo beautiful it seems like a fantasy – almost too good to be real.
It’s also a very romantic place. So, if you happen to visit there with a mate, this is one of the best places in the world to redefine romance. ;) but even if you’re visiting Italy by yourself,
Lago di Garda is a must see! don’t miss it for the world. (then again, so is most of Italy :)

    Enjoy.
