Not worth it!
Although the island is beautiful the hotel and beach area that I stayed in were covered in Cockroaches, unfortunately they are the first thing I think of when I think back to the holiday.

We stayed in Puerto Rico but I’ve also stayed in Maspalomas. Puerto Rico has good night life and sport fishing, while Maspalomas has a great beach.

Had a lovley holiday here with my boyfriend however I wouldn’t recommend it. We were staying in a nice hotel in San Agustin just out of playa del ingles (thank goodness!). Playa Del Ingles is very british, a bit like a big blackpool.
We spent most of our time at maspolamas, which was lovley with some very nice reseraunts.

Gran Canaria has beautiful weather all year round, great nightlife and beautiful beaches. Maspalomas is well worth a visit as is the market at Arguinegan

i’ve just realised that although i’ve seen more of europe most of my friend did, it’s such a small part of the world. i don’t know, it seems weird going to only 43 places – i want to go everywhere!
at the conference in iceland we met this great couple from gran canaria and they invited us over for a visit. i’m thinking we should go asap! :)

Gran Canaria is a very nice place, If you go I highly recommend riding the camels at Maspalomas! It’s also a great idea to visit Palmitos Park to see all the birds! It’s very hot at times in Gran Canaria though so be sure to take plenty of fans, hats, and sunglasses with you!

Ask me about paradise.
Anfi at its liveliest… where you can almost taste the sea.
Overlooking Anfi’s lush, heart-shaped island and the 80-berth marina, Club Puerto Anfi is at the very epicentre of the Anfi development. This is the second of the four sister resorts where members were first welcomed in 1996.
Puerto Anfi’s architects just couldn’t fail to respond to the resort’s stunning maritime location. You’ll notice in its bold exteriors and
in many of its public areas, nautical details reflect the shapes and movement of a ship. But here you’re never further than a short stroll from the real thing, the swaying masts and fluttering flags of the boats moored in Anfi’s bustling marina.
At Club Puerto Anfi, a day trip on a yacht, a family fishing expedition, a dolphin spotting cruise or scuba diving are all on your doorstep – literally!
Whether you choose a large, rooftop penthouse or a comfortable, one or two-bedroom suite, you’ll be immersed and refreshed by pure luxury at Club Puerto Anfi. All suites and penthouses share the luxurious ‘home-from-home’ feeling that makes Anfi so very special.
