Why I want to go to this place
It occurs to me that this place is probably something straight out of an Indiana Jones movie! Indiana Jones – is my alter ego (and I’m a female) The antiquities (sp) excite me! Just being able to touch something from an old civilization is the ultimate!

Beautiful!!
Just beautiful! Despite the hoards of tourists. This place was buried by jungle for quite some time before it was rediscovered. It is a remnant of Buddhism in Java.
One of the few places in the world worth getting up in time for sunrise to see.

On an early morning
We went up really early one morning and took a taxi from Yogya out to Borobodur. We were the first ones on site and was able to walk around and have the whole place to ourselves for over an hour at the break of day.

Great Candi!!!
One thing for sure, if you happen to be around Yogyakarta … don’t forget to have a glimpse of the Borobudur.
Make sure that you come before the sun shine to get the beautiful sight of Borobudur and the scenic view around this place! Make sure that you bring a lot of waters with you if you come around 12 in the broad day light because it can be exhausted!!! And the tour guide is a good thing to have!! it’s only 5 euro or at the most 7 euro for almost an hour talking!!! Take a private tour so you can decide when you want to stop or if you want to enhance the speed of story :) It won’t be a hard-feeling case as long as you state it politely and especially when it is too hot to be true!!
the sight of sunset also beautiful!!! So in short…make sure this is one of your list to go while you’re in Central of Java.
