Menorca

Very small island you can go from one of the island to the other within half a day easliy! and very very hot!!! lovley beaches and in Citedella real nice unique shops! Also home to the worlds 4th deepest port! The Boat called ‘the World’ was there when i went ive seen it again in Wellington Habour! You Wont belive how big it is!!!!

I’m going here on holiday in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone had any tips for restaurants/beaches that are suitable for families…but not in a tacky way. Any help would be great!

Wonderful place – loved Son Park and it’s beach.. Cala en Porter too is wonderful.

Go down the beach in the morning then visit ‘The Village Pub’ in the square for an afternoon drink.

Went several yersa go – superb lagoons.

Great place for couples who are looking for a relaxing, romantic break. Although I wouldn’t recommend it for families. I went their with my family when I was six years old, and I was bored stiff after a few days.

well, this place was really intersting. I heard that catherine zeta-jones lives somewhere up in the mountains on this island, so I kept thinking we would bump into her. We were there for new years and the weather was incredible. 2 sets of fireworks: one at midnight uk time, and one at regular spain time. lots of tourists, though. great chorizo from a stand on the main street. We took busses up to the mountains and picked gorgeous oranges from the trees (which turned out to be really bitter). All in all, a great week to get away and be a tourist in a gorgeous place. So underated!

Unspoilt and not as commercial as the rest of the islands.Great place to relax in the summer and some beautiful beaches.

I think Menorca is the most beautiful balearic island. She´s still wild and protected of massive tourism. To get lost at this island is one of the most exiting experience you can still have in the mediterreanean sea.
