A review of this place
These paths connect various buildings in the financial district underground, so there is very little scenery and no natural light.
Effective yes, but not as much fun as Calgary’s +15 system which is made up of enclosed bridges generally one floor (15 feet) above the street level so it is very bright and airy.

A review of this place
Only worth using to get from your downtown office to your TTC station or GO station in cold or otherwise inclement weather. Or maybe for finding your food court lunch destination.
NOT ADVISABLE as a tourist destination. Plus, it generally takes twice as long to get anywhere through this method and can be very easy to get lost if you don’t know where you’re going or don’t care how that relates to the streets above.

I am SO noairaphobic, whatever that word is. Besides, it can induce claustrophobia in normal people. And it’s stiffling hot in the winter. And yeah I just don’t like it.

PATH - underground!?
The photos are kind of confusing because at first glance I thought the PATH you were referring to is the underground connecting the buildings in the financial district from University to Yonge and then Front to King.
This is where the office people walk at lunch time to have lunch at the various fast food food courts under each building and do some lunch time shopping. It sure takes out the need to go the mall. Lunch is $5+, sometimes there are special events and performances.

Keep out of the elements
We used it last time we went to Toronto to travel from our hotel to the HHOF and back, and then later to the Air Canada Centre and back. Since it was quite cold and snowy outside, the PATH was a welcome respite from the frigid temperatures outside—we didn’t even need coats. We even found restaurants along the way, although most businesses were closed for the weekend.
