A Must See by russellviii

For a monument, it’s relatively small. It’s very simple. But it inspires within itself a certain sense of reverence and awe.

A great memorial to a great president.

I love Abe! It was so amazing to finally see this. I went with my Grandparents a couple years ago and we were just passing by and couldn’t stay long. We only had time to visit one thing – so I begged them to take me there. The statue was actually smaller than I thought it was going to be. But nevertheless, it was still worth it. I loved being in a place with so much history.

I was only like 13 but it was pretty cool to see such a big statue, I dont remember alot about this. I think it was kind of in the middle of no where considering its in a big city. KInd of like a park setting is waht i mean.

I’ve been to DC many times; but, I always have to visit this memorial. You have to read the speeches…awe inspiring, esp. in this setting.
