Why I want to go to this place
This place seems amazing and I have to go. The world is getting more and more explored for every day, and here in central europe there seems to be villages, towns, houses, people roads everywhere to go. I dream about visiting a place like Tierra Del Fuego where you can enjoy the nature as it once was…

A review of this place: Punta Arenas, Cape Horn, Ushuaia
Amazing! Glaciers, milky blue water, wind.

Lived here, want to go back
I lived there as a child 40 years ago and went back 10 years ago (which had been my lifetime dream). My parents and I lived on the island for 8 years. They were the happiest years of my life. I love the island and am haunted by the memory of those happy years.

Well, I haven’t actually been on the island of Tierra del Fuego; I went to Punta arenas, then down to Puerto Williams, which is on the island of Navarino, about 3 kilometres south of Tierra del Fuego, across the Beagle Channel. It’s in the region, though. Puerto Williams is a nice little town, and the scenery is marvellous; I spent about a month there helping with some bird research in Omora Ethnobotanical Park. It’s certainly the most amazing place I’ve ever been to. I’m going back this fall.
