I’m subscribed to BikeExif’s mailing list. They had an interview with Peter Egan and he reckons this would be the ultimate place to ride a bike: “You get a mixture of beautiful landscapes that are always changing, uncertainty, challenging roads, charming villages, nice people, great Mexican food and evening Margaritas, a combination that always burns itself into your memory in a way that few other trips do. It’s like riding through the Old West. Unfortunately, with all the drug violence near the border, some areas are getting to be a little more like the Old West than is healthy.”
