The New Pornographers at Bimbo's 365 Club! — 2 years ago
Worth visiting!
Last night, I saw The New Pornographers at Bimbo’s 365 Club in North Beach. Getting on the right bus was an adventure in itself! I liked one of the opening bands Immaculate Machine, though I only heard about one and a half songs by them. I had a great spot near the stage next to the sound board. There was a lot of witty banter between Neko Case and Carl Newman, very entertaining. I think it’s a Canadian thing, since Tegan & Sara are also pretty entertaining on stage between songs. I might write a full review of the show for Losing Today, which has already put up 3 of my reviews (British Sea Power, The Caesars, and Architecture in Helsinki)!
