Nias

To visit D & Z.

In August of 2005 I went to Nias to work in Earthquake relief. Despite the sweltering weather I had an amazing time, the people of Nias are so welcoming and friendly. It is also a very beautiful and serene place to visit.

I went there for volunteer work after great earthquake 2005. The island survived with people willing to carry on their live. The beaches were great for surfing. On Januari 2005 an international surfing competition held here.
