1000 Islands

Very simple, kind of rustic, but not too expensive. Trips out on the river are affordable (we paid $33 for the 2 of us for a 2.25 hour trip around the river and to Boldt Castle).

We go camping on the St. Lawerence every year on the US side. It really is beautiful in the summer. Lots of good kayaking opportunities.

What a beautiful place. If a little crowded. But still worth it.

Only durring the summer! Awesome place to travel I grew up here but unless you are one of those weirdos who likes to freeze their ass off i’ll recommend summer.

Before starting trip, it was raining. So I didnt’ want to go trip, but I didn’t have choice. I was very disappointed about 1000 islands that are just houses for rich people. Nothing is special to me.
