A review of this place: Best ghost town in the world? — 1 month ago
Worth visiting!
Out of the three biggest ghost cities in the world, Pripyat is by far the most famous.
This is probably the best thing I’ve ever done.

i believe that Chernobyl has distinct, non conventional beauty to it.
even though it is mostly desolate, life lives on. humans are long gone [except for marked houses, and those doing scientific research], yet nature lives on, like humans were never there.
if you just look at the pictures, you can tell that people got out of there as soon as possible [understandably…there WAS a nuclear explosion].
it’s kind of spooky, and erie, and romantic, all at the same time. the ferris wheel still stands from the amusement park that was never able to be opened, for their may 1 opening was overshadowed by the horrific nuclear reactor accident that happened on April 26.

I’ve always been fascinated with Chernobyl. For some strange reason I just want to feel the eerieness that exists there. Also, I’ve played the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R set in Chernobyl which has really wanna made me go now. Maybe when I’m older.

History does not repeat itself, rather we repeat history. Knowledge is our key, and humanity is our goal.

I saw a documentary… I have read the news…but I feel I need to go and see first hand the devastation wrought upon this earth by man. I want to go to the orphanages and if even for a moment bring some comfort to the children there.
