Worth visiting!

the "out of gas" exhibit

...running now until sometime in april ‘08 is incredible. definitely one of the most well-thought-out and presented displays i’ve seen in a long time.

Wonderful Place

At first I was disappointed, but as I explored the building it became clear to me that this was no ordinary museum. This place offers a tactile experience, a livable experience, and a historic experience. The curators have created a place that can truly impress upon you the importance of space and how a building can influence you and your behaviour.

Oh well

We had a very narrow window of opportunity (between when we arrived this morning and had to leave for the hockey game) to visit today, but didn’t make it. Although we don’t leave Montreal until tomorrow afternoon, the Centre is closed tomorrow. :-(

While in Montreal

We’re heading back to Montreal next February for a Montreal Canadiens game, and while we’re there, I’d like to visit the CCA—I love architecture, and we didn’t visit it when we were in Montreal for a couple of days back in 1995.
Besides, it will be really cold in early February, and the more time we can spend indoors, the better!
