Busch Gardens

I rode My first roller coaster here. My mom went with me so I wouldn’t go alone even though she gets motion sick. I survived the Lochness Monster unscathed but I admit my mom tossed her cookies politely in a trash can right after the ride.

I only live about an hour away so we have been visiting Busch Gardens since I was a baby! I love the rides(The Big Bad Wolf is my favorite!) and the food and entertainment at the beer hall is awesome. It can be a bit pricey with the ticket cost, the food, parking, drinks, etc… but it is worth it to splurge for a day of fun. My favorite time to go is in the fall right before they close cause they have Howl-o-Scream which is a huge Halloween celebration, and the whole park is transformed into a Halloween extravaganza! So much fun!

I went 20 years ago and got to go back last fall, during Howl-o-Scream. I had a blast! Griffon and Apollo’s Chariot are awesome. If you love roller coasters, you’ll love BGE.
Since it was September, the weather was just right for spending two days at the park.
Recommend eating at the the Trappers Smokehouse. Extras can bring the cost up, but the food is great and will fill you up for most of the day.
