Visit the website to find out when the free days are. You’ll have to contend with dozens of school groups (ugh) but you can enjoy the exhibits for free and perhaps find some favorites that you can return to on a quieter day. 5 months agoWant to return again and again by MFMSpent a rainy Sunday here with my sister and 2 nieces this past weekend. They have a Lion’s Trail tour suggestion for families and there are lots of kid friendly activities. For myself, I was impressed by the collection and especially loved the folk art and architecture. over 2 years agoWorld class art collections!! by Ketty RobinsonI liked this museum more than anything else. This I must say is a world’s most renowned museum. A very nice arrangement of the collections but my favorite one was African section and American art section. It is popularly known for housing Garnet Wood’s American gothic, Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks and of course an amazing collection of Impressionist art, however this museum is quite expensive…$18/person but it really worthy. I strongly recommend this place. Untitled by IShy134I was kind’ve blown away. Some of it is just amazing, others not so much. A lot of galleries were closed so I’ll have to go back when they’re reopened. But it was still really nice. I’d go back. Tip #1, don’t get too close to anything or a really loud annoy beep goes off and people come running! over 4 years agoSee all 65 entries |
