The Pacific Ocean is incredibly beautiful- Manhattan Beach is very clean and well taken care of (no trash on the beach, etc). There’s a neat pier with an aquarium at the end, great boutiques, fantastic food, and it’s 10 minutes away from LAX (but it feels like another world away from LA). I took my son to the beach for the first time. It was fun. Put his little feet in the water and in the sand. Just had a good time.
