Northwestern University

Going here for undergrad in music is extremely high-pressure, and leaves little time for other concerns, whether it be social time or other academic subjects. I had a bad experience here. It seems that people in schools other than the School of Music are fairly happy, however.

nice people, but not the old university campus i was expecting… lots of cement 60’s buildings and architecture… and cold and flat whe i was there in february. Very nice lake though!

I’m a student here. It’s a nice place – not too uptight and workaholic, and the spring and fall are nice. Winters can be bad – you can get cabin fever if you don’t make sure to get out a lot. Chicago’s a really great city, too, so it’s really nice to have that at your doorstep.

I was accepted to Northwestern for undergrad, but didn’t end up going. Still, I have a soft spot for the school, and I finally got to see it in person last summer.
