Write an entry Entries about this placeWish I had my camera by MFMwe wandered in on Thursday and I was stunned by this mixture of living space and arts in the middle of a city. There is a manmade lake and all the flats have riots of flowers and hanging plants so it is really lovely. We had a snack in a little cafe outside and enjoyed the gorgeous weather. Then we saw an odd artchitecture exhibit but I was starting to feel the jet lag and nodded off to sleep everytime I sat. over 6 years agoMy graduation by kezwas held in the barbican centre so i do like the concrete jungle despite it being a rather strange town within a town over 7 years agoA place to live... by nzmark
You either love it or you hate it. Concrete Brutalism, yet lovingly hammered by hand to reveal the grain of the aggregate. The arts centre hosts a fantastic variety of events, from classical music to cutting-edge plays.
