A review of this place: *sparkly eyes*

What a place to swim…that was fantastic! It’s on the south side of Crete, as close to Africa as you get in Greece…the water is so warm! As you swim out from the shore, you can see all the little caves in the rocks like honey comb. It was so beautiful, I am planning a trip in my head right now.

The caves are amazing. But the swimming is really awesome too,towering cliffs around, reefs you can stand on in the middle of the sea.Very special place

Matala beach,an ex hippies destination is a tourist must see place in Crete.Very good spot for your summer holidays.
