Why I recommend this place to visitors
Yet another beautiful Icelandic waterfall!
It’s apparently the place where the “Lawspeaker” of the Icelandic Parliament threw his pagan idols after decreeing that Iceland should become Christian. So that’s how it became known as the “Waterfall of the Gods”.
