The Silk Road aka: 丝绸之路

The beginning of the silk road is in my city, Xi’an, and the last time I saw it was on a bus on my way to the airport. I happened to be reading The Travels of Marco Polo as we were passing the silk road monument I realized that he had been there and here I was 700 years later in the same spot reading his book. It was a pretty cool feeling.

I just came back from the silk road, it is really amazing!! Along the road there are a lot to see, which are not like anything that I have seen before, it was like a completely different world… all the major attractions along the road are worth visiting: Dunhuang, Jiayuguan, Urumqi, Lanzhou… And I just can’t help wondering that my motherland is really an AMAZING country!!!
I love it!

I know the pandas arent from silk road but their still from china.
I want to go here to learn more about its history.

China is where my ancestors from. I always want to explore this huge place. I love to find out why people are fasinated by this region for thousands of years.
