I stayed at the place where the Catholic Priests live. It was really nice and the bathroom for the room I stayed in was beautiful!!! I would love to have a bathroom like that someday.

Great Kroger, good Chinese restaurants, decent antique shopping, lots of pretty architecture. Good tattoo shops.

My friends used to tell jokes about “The Zoo”,
Texas Womens Univ, and I decided after leaving Brownsville to go see it. First time ever I’d seen so many women in one place! I was charmed, fascinated, spellbound and whatever else you’d call it.

Some of those women were so beautiful I was bashful to even look at them, and would associate with “average” looking ones instead. Don’t go to an all female University unless you are strong enough to handle the emotional rollercoaster you’re sure to experience.

I absolutely love Denton. I’m originally from Houston, but I’m here for college at UNT…and I want to stay here for the rest of my life. It has everything you need, but it still has that small town atmosphere that everyone loves. It has tons of character, and it’s really unique. Tons of great restaurants, live local bands, beautiful houses, awesome people…this town is amazing. VISIT. Live here. :)

If you like beer and loud bands this is the town for you. Denton rocks!

I miss The Loophole and The Flying Tomato the most.
