Wayne Gretzky's

I had the Cheesesteak Sandwich. It was well flavoured, more onions and mushrooms would have been good, but it was a huge sandwich. The sandwich got boring after 12 bites. The bread could have better complimented it, but it was boring bread, didn’t seem all that fresh. The honey dijon salad dressing turned out to be a cream, and was too thick. Probably out of a jar. I expected a bit more from Gretzky’s. Atmosphere is very open, cozy feel. Chairs you got to get used to, they are armchairs, but lumpy. Surprising no support on the chair.

the dessert is just to die for!

We didn’t have a car and it wasn’t close to the subway,but the lengthy walk was worth it. The food was tasty, portions were huge, and the hockey (#99) memorabilia was interesting.
