Go to the ski station of Portillo. There are many good mountains and the hotel (there’s only one in the place) is fantastic!

I’ve been to the Andes in Patagonia, in Chile/Argentina near Mendoza, and in Peru near Machu Pichu.

They are very very very BIG and just rise so steeply out of the ground it’s like the ground was angry or something.
