Worth visiting!
A review of this place: Good for hikers
San jose is a city. And this park allows an oppurtunity to go in the wilderness.
For those with a car, the best way is to drive upto the park center, and then from there choose the various trails. This way you can easily roam about.
I did not have a car, so I took the bus to peneticia creek. And then walked 2 miles. then moved around the park around 5 miles and was exausted. Then coming back I came to alum rock avenue. And from there walked to the bus stop.
So visit there, go top of the hill, relax, enjoy the silicon valley and for a momemt forget that you live in a city

No aluminum
I’d heard the name and seen it on local maps and wondered about the geology of the place. This history of the park makes it clear there’s no aluminum, but made it seem even more curious. I’m looking forward to checking it out some time.
