Biltmore Mansion

the mansion is sooooo huge. Nice to look at for a bit, but we were there like looking at every freaking room. It took HOURS! wouldn’t reccomend staying that long.

If you can go on the behind the scenes tour, do it. You get to see a lot more stuff.

Wonderful place to take photos; we visit regularly and I’ve taken at least 1000 so far!

Christmas is beautiful. Also worth visiting during the spring flower festival.

The price of admission is high, but if you are going to be in the area, it’s worth it. If you tour the house, make sure you pay the extra coin for the audio tour – it’s definately worth it. Wear your walking shoes and make sure you have plenty of time. We were there for a day and only saw the main house. The grounds were gorgeous in the spring and we wished we’d been able to see more.
